Our mission

Our main aim is to investigate the applications of coupled processes in geomechanical studies from a multi-physics prospective where chemical, thermal, hydraulic and mechanical interactions co-exist. We investigate these multi-physics phenomena across scales using innovative experimental setup, theoretical development and numerical simulation. 

We then use our expertise in downhole geophysical logging to link the rock properties to identify physical processes.
